It all started in the USA.

JDL Access began offering access solutions in the Sydney area in 2015, building on a foundation established in Colorado in 2008. After gaining extensive experience in rope work across the Rocky Mountain State, Josh Lyons, the owner and operator, relocated to Australia.

Josh has a diverse background that includes not only working on Sydney's buildings but also extensive experience in heavy industries across the country, such as geotechnical, mining, and oil and gas sectors. He is an IRATA certified Level 3 supervisor, an advanced rigger, and is an IRATA instructor.

At JDL Access, we prioritise rope access as a central strategy for achieving project goals, while recognising the complexity involved. At JDL we pride ourselves on our client relations, which means having a healthy line of open communication throughout the project. Rope access is a potentially dangerous industry and it is not to be taken lightly. We feel that if done properly with manageable expectations, everyday can be a safe day out on the ropes.
